Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Training period ranges from six months to one year.
• Two years minimum as assembler or warehouse team member preferred.
• Must read, write and comprehend English.
• Able to read specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Knowledge of M3, Teamcenter, and basic Word applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, and issues handtools, machine tools, materials, and equipment.
• Issues tools and equipment to workers and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned.
• Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
• Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.
• Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and replenishes inventory.
• Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear, and reports damage or wear.
• Repairs, services, and lubricates tools and equipment.
• May deliver tools or equipment to workers.
• May mark and identify tools and equipment.
• Occasional: complete paperwork for tool, fixtures, assembly equipment requests, repairs or retirement.

Education

HS Diploma or GED required

Training period 6 months to 1 year
