Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Tool Crib Assistant II to manage tool receipt, storage and issuance at a secure government facility. You will perform advanced maintenance on tools and mentor junior staff in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities include inventory control, equipment inspections, and collaboration with departments to ensure uninterrupted operations. A US security clearance is required or pending clearance during onboarding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience with maintaining tools and equipment.
• Understand inventory records and stock control.
• Able to work extended hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of tools and equipment.
• Perform advanced cleaning, oiling, and repair tasks.
• Oversee inventory accuracy and stock levels.
• Dispose of obsolete equipment and manage surplus inventory.
• Ensure tools are safe, functional, and compliant with standards.
• Train and mentor junior Tool Crib staff.
• Keep tool crib organized and accessible for operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize tool crib operations.
