As a Tool Crib Assistant II, you will take on more responsibilities, including the management of more complex tool crib activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting with advanced repairs and maintenance of tools and equipment. You will also help train junior staff and ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards.The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations – with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.**Responsibilities:*** **Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of a wider variety of tools and equipment.*** Conduct more advanced cleaning, oiling, and repair tasks on tools and equipment.* Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate records and stock levels.* **Dispose of obsolete equipment** and manage surplus inventory effectively.* Ensure all tools and equipment are in safe, working condition and compliant with safety standards.* **Conduct detailed inspections and maintenance of tools and equipment.*** Assist in training and mentoring Tool Crib Assistant I staff.* Enhance the organization and maintenance of the tool crib environment.* Ensure timely availability of tools to support continuous operations.* Collaborate with other departments to optimize tool crib operations.**Qualifications You Must Have:*** High school diploma or GED equivalent.* **1+ years of experience** in relevant technical field or related field.* Strong understanding of tool and equipment maintenance.* **Ability to maintain inventory records and manage stock level**s.* Basic understanding of the use, maintenance, and repair of a variety of hand/power tools and tooling equipment.* **Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required.*** **A United States Government Security Clearance is required for employment.** Applicants who do not currently have a USG security clearance are welcome to apply and, if selected, will be processed for a USG security clearance by SNC prior to employment. Employment will begin once the USG security clearance is granted.
