Job summary

Acro Service Corp invites applications for a Tool Crib Specialist on a 1 Year Contract (Temp to hire). You will act as the point person for Tool Crib activities, locate and sign out MRO items, prepare carts, and ensure accurate ERP entry for items issued each morning.

You will also call requestors to pick up materials, load stock into correct bins, and maintain the crib area by organizing pallets and recycling materials.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing setting and inventory control preferred.
• Ability to influence various groups without direct authority.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Office; ability to learn ERP/ARIBA.

Responsibilities

• Point person for Tool Crib activities and MRO item sign-out.
• Service MRO window by locating and signing out items.
• Prepare carts with MRO supplies and fill vending machines.
• Enter all issued items into ERP for stock taken that morning.
• Call requestors to pick up materials ordered at the crib.
• Load stock into correct bins, enter into ERP and file paperwork.
• Maintain clean tool crib area and recycle waste.
• Monitor stock levels to avoid stockouts; perform cycle counts twice weekly.
• Enter PO’s into ARIBA and coordinate with Finance, Engineering and Operations.

Employment Type: 1 Year Contract (Temp to hire)

Daily tasks/duties and department interactions:

• Point person for Tool Crib activities
• Servicing MRO window by locating and signing out MRO items
• Prepare cart with MRO supplies and fill vending machines
• Enter all items issued into ERP system for any stock that has been taken out that morning
• Call requestors to pick up their materials ordered at the crib
• Load stock in the correct bin, enter into ERP system and file paperwork
• Clean up tool crib area: condense pallets, corrugated, recycled paper, recycle toner cartridges, recycle batteries, dispense of broken tools
• Watch for empty or bins that have low quantity to avoid a stock out
• MRO Cycle count twice per week per list given
• Enter PO’s into ARIBA and receive goods against PO’s; work with Finance, Engineering and Operations

Experience Preferred:

• Ability to work with and influence various internal and external groups without having direct authority
• Organized and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer experience – Microsoft Office and ability to learn other computer systems.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting and inventory control are preferred

Education Required:

• High school degree or GED equivalent required.
