Responsibilities

• Support daily Tool Crib and yard operations, inventorying tools and assets.
• Manage tool check-in/check-out using Tool Watch or similar system.
• Conduct inventory counts and track lost or damaged tools.
• Organize, label, and store tools for efficiency and accountability.
• Ensure tools are inspected, cleaned, and ready for field use.
• Coordinate tool deliveries, pickups, rentals, and jobsite setup.
• Enforce checkout procedures and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Provide data entry and inventory tracking to improve workflows.

Essential Duties

• Support and promote M-K’s safety culture by following all safety regulations, company policies, and tool management procedures.
• Assist with daily Tool Crib and yard operations, including:
  • Maintaining inventory of tools, equipment, consumables, and other company assets.
  • Managing tool check-in/check-out through Tool Watch or similar tracking systems.
  • Conducting inventory counts, audits, and tracking lost, damaged, or stolen tools.
  • Organizing, labeling, and storing tools to maintain efficiency and accountability.
• Help ensure tools and equipment are inspected, cleaned, repaired as needed, and ready for field use.
• Support jobsite logistics by coordinating tool deliveries, pickups, rentals, and jobsite office setup and breakdown.
• Maintain security, accountability, and organization within the Tool Crib and yard by enforcing checkout procedures and keeping work areas clean and safe.
• Provide administrative support through data entry, inventory tracking, workflow improvements, and communication regarding tool availability and issues.
• Respond to inquiries professionally and maintain effective communication with field teams and internal stakeholders.
• Comply with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and workplace standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support Tool Crib operations and company objectives.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proficient organization and recordkeeping abilities with strong attention to detail; ability to consistently follow established procedures and support operational accountability; effective interpersonal and communication skills for working with field personnel and internal teams; reliability in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment; aptitude for identifying process improvements related to inventory flow and workspace efficiency; and the physical capability to handle tools, equipment, and yard/warehouse conditions as required.

Education & Training:

A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
