Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Tool & Gauge Technician at Arsenal-1 near Columbus, Ohio. You will lead asset management, maintain calibration records, and ensure tool control and FOD prevention to keep production flowing. You’ll work with AS9100 and DCMA processes, coordinate with calibration vendors, and provide calibration artifacts for audits.

This role requires attention to detail, familiarity with tooling, and the ability to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience standing up or running a tool crib/tool control program in aerospace/defense manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in tool & die, machining, quality, or calibration preferred.
• Basic training in tool control and work order release methods; comfortable with forms, records, and reports.
• Familiarity with tools, gauges, and consumables; basic storekeeping methods and inventory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Own asset management and control procedure for all calibrated instruments on site; track location and ownership in calibration registry.
• Maintain objective evidence for inventory and calibration artifacts per AS9100/ MRl; support audits.
• Support DCMA surveillance with accurate tooling/asset records; ensure tooling controls and FOD prevention.
• Own and govern tool control procedure: broken tool replacement, tagging, engraving, ownership handoff to station leads.
• Serve as asset management POC for manufacturing readiness assessments and calibration artifacts.
