Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a machine build, tooling, fixture, or automation environment.
• Ability to build tooling from mechanical prints and drawings.
• Experience reading mechanical blueprints and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Build tooling, fixtures, and mechanical assemblies from prints and drawings.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, assembly drawings, and engineering prints.
• Fit, assemble, align, and adjust tooling components.
• Perform drilling, tapping, grinding, filing, and other manual fitting operations.
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Install and assemble components such as locating pins, clamps, brackets, stops, and tooling details.
• Troubleshoot fitment and mechanical issues during the build process.
• Make modifications and adjustments to tooling as required.
• Work closely with machine builders, engineers, and other skilled trades.
• Ensure tooling is assembled accurately and meets customer specifications.
