AMETEK Inc. is seeking a Tool Builder to construct molds for molding machines, read blueprints, and keep a clean, organized workspace. This role requires mechanical aptitude, hand tools experience, and precision measuring with calipers and gauges.

You will inspect mold components, align with the production schedule, and coordinate tool repairs while supporting preventive maintenance. This hourly-position offers competitive pay and benefits within a global manufacturing leader.

Competenze

• Reads and interprets blueprints to select tooling and molds.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness in the tool storage area.
• Has familiarity with measuring instruments and inspection routines.

Mansioni

• Build molds for molding machines by assembling tooling components into mold bases per blueprint instructions.
• Perform inspection of mold bases and components.
• Follow blueprints when selecting molds and components.
• Consult production schedules for molds to be built.
• Use measuring tools such as snap gauges and digital calipers.
• Coordinate tool repairs with the tool shop.
• Assist with preventive maintenance of tools and mold bases.
• Operate molding machines as needed.
• Disassemble and clean molds after runs.
• Follow established procedures and safety standards.
