Job summary

NOV is looking for a dedicated individual for a role that involves significant physical activity, coordinating the pickup and delivery of Cyclops Setting Tools. This position supports customer field operations and requires individuals to maintain tools and equipment under strict safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in manufacturing or assembly, knowledge of basic hand tools, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Availability for weekends and travel may be necessary to ensure operational needs are met.

Qualifications

  • Downhole tool experience preferred but not required.
  • Available to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.

  • Coordinate and execute tool pickup and delivery.
  • Wash, tear down, and rebuild tools under supervision.
  • Report steps in the recycling program through software.
  • Maintain equipment and tools for job performance.

Job description

Primary Responsibilities
  • Work closely with customer field representatives to effectively coordinate and execute Cyclops Setting Tool pickup and delivery to customer field locations.
  • Wash, tear down & rebuild the Cyclops Setting Tools per the applicable NOV work instructions under strict supervision.
  • Report all steps of the Cyclops Recycling Program through NOV software with supervision.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment and tools are available and adequately maintained to perform all aspects of the job.
  • May assist in the delivery and pickup of tools as needed.
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism and works with honesty and integrity.
  • Any other duty, responsibility, or task as assigned by the supervisor.
Education & Experience Qualifications
  • Downhole tool experience is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, shop, etc. is a bonus.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10 OS, Microsoft Office and Prophet 21 ERP.
  • Available to work weekends and holidays as needed to support customer field operations.
  • Previous forklift training is a bonus.
  • Proficiency with basic hand tools.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
Working Conditions
  • Physically demanding work including lifting, bending, and manual loading/unloading.
  • May encounter exposure to oilfield environments and potential contact with hydrocarbons.
  • This position may require periodic travel to other districts as necessary to meet company needs and support operational initiatives.
