Job summary

NOV in Broussard, LA seeks a hands-on technician responsible for coordinating Cyclops Setting Tool pickups and deliveries with customer field representatives. You will wash, tear down and rebuild tools under supervision, and ensure the necessary equipment is available and in good condition.

You will report all recycling program steps through NOV software, assist with tool delivery, and uphold high standards of professionalism, safety, and integrity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Physical capability to lift 75 lbs and handle tools daily.
• Experience in manufacturing or shop environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with Windows 10, Office, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute Cyclops Setting Tool pickup and delivery to customer sites.
• Wash, tear down and rebuild Cyclops Setting Tools under supervision following NOV work instructions.
• Log steps of the Cyclops Recycling Program in NOV software with supervision
• Ensure equipment and tools are available and maintained to perform the job
• Assist in delivery and pickup of tools as needed
• Maintain professionalism and integrity; perform any other duties as assigned

• Work closely with customer field representatives to effectively coordinate and execute Cyclops Setting Tool pickup and delivery to customer field locations.


• Wash, tear down & rebuild the Cyclops Setting Tools per the applicable NOV work instructions under strict supervision


• Report all steps of the Cyclops Recycling Program through NOV software with supervision


• Ensure all necessary equipment and tools are available and adequately maintained to perform all aspects of the job


• May assist in the delivery and pickup of tools as needed


• Maintain the highest level of professionalism and works with honesty and integrity Any other duty, responsibility, or task as assigned by the supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience Qualifications

• Downhole tool experience is preferred but not required


• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, shop, etc. is a bonus


• Working knowledge of Windows 10 OS, Microsoft Office and Prophet 21 ERP


• Available to work weekends and holidays as needed to support customer field operations


• Previous forklift training is a bonus


• Proficiency with basic hand tools


• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs


• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
