Job summary

Mastronardi Produce USA, Inc. seeks Crop Care Workers to garden, pick and process tomatoes in a state-of-the-art greenhouse. Training is provided; flexibility in hours during peak growth is required.

Responsibilities include operating equipment to access produce up to 20 feet high, maintaining hygiene for Food Safety, and reporting issues to a supervisor. Prior agriculture/restaurant experience and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in agriculture or restaurant industry preferred.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude with good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

• Garden, pick and process tomatoes in greenhouse environment.
• Operate a trolley to reach produce up to 20' high.
• Report issues to supervisor; maintain hygiene to meet Food Safety guidelines.
• Follow company rules, Food Safety guidelines, and Health & Safety procedures.
• Report pests and diseases with type, location and infestation details.
