Job summary

STK Charlotte is seeking a ToGo Specialist to oversee the full takeout experience, from order intake and packaging to guest interaction and handoff, with precision and hospitality. You will be the face of STK for guests ordering takeout or delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely service.

The role emphasizes high-quality guest experiences, coordination with kitchen staff, and maintaining a clean, efficient ToGo station in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a guest service or takeout position in a high-volume restaurant is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and assist takeout guests in person and over the phone.
• Process takeout and delivery orders using POS and third-party platforms.
• Ensure orders are packaged correctly, promptly, and presented well.
• Coordinate with kitchen and expo to ensure accuracy and timing.
• Verify items, utensils, and packaging before pickup or delivery.
• Maintain a clean ToGo station.
• Handle transactions and cash procedures.
• Assist with curbside pickup when needed.
• Monitor online orders and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide exceptional guest service with professionalism and a smile.

What You’ll Do

As a ToGo Specialist, you will be the face of STK for guests who enjoy our signature vibe dining experience at home or on the go. You’ll manage the full takeout experience—from order intake and packaging to guest interaction and handoff—with precision, hospitality, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and assist takeout guests in person and over the phone
• Accurately process takeout and delivery orders using POS and third-party platforms
• Ensure all to-go orders are packaged correctly, promptly, and with proper presentation standards
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and expo team to ensure order accuracy and timing
• Verify all food items, sauces, utensils, and packaging before guest pickup or delivery handoff
• Always maintain a clean and organized ToGo station
• Handle payment transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
• Assist with curbside pickup when applicable
• Monitor online order channels and promptly resolve order issues or delays
• Provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and a smile

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a guest service or takeout position in a high-volume restaurant preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems and third-party delivery platforms (e.g., Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and guest satisfaction
• Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and delivering elevated guest experiences
• Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with STK brand standards
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift to 25 lbs.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
