The Learning Experience in Ashburn, VA is hiring an experienced Toddler / Two-Year-Old Teacher to create engaging learning experiences and support children as they develop independence, language, and social skills.

You will work a consistent full-time Monday–Friday schedule, earn $19–$21 per hour, and join a collaborative team with training, advancement opportunities, and a commitment to safety and family partnerships.

Competenze

• Experience with toddlers or two-year-olds in a licensed childcare or early childhood setting.
• CDA credential preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of toddler development and developmentally appropriate teaching practices.
• Experience managing classroom routines and supporting positive behavior.
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

We're looking for a patient, energetic educator who understands toddler development, enjoys creating hands-on learning experiences, and knows how to build positive relationships with children and families.

From first friendships and growing language skills to learning classroom routines and exploring the world around them, you'll make a meaningful difference in children's lives every day.

What You'll Do

• Create engaging daily learning experiences for toddlers and two-year-olds
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum through age-appropriate, play-based activities
• Support early language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
• Encourage independence, communication, self-help skills, and positive peer relationships
• Engage children through sensory play, music, movement, art, stories, and hands-on exploration
• Guide children through meals, outdoor play, rest time, toileting, and classroom transitions
• Use positive behavior guidance and maintain consistent classroom routines

Qualifications

• Previous professional experience working with toddlers or two-year-olds in a licensed childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting required
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred, but not required
• Strong understanding of toddler development and developmentally appropriate teaching practices
• Experience managing classroom routines and supporting positive behavior
• Patient, nurturing, dependable, and enthusiastic about early childhood education
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Must meet applicable Virginia childcare licensing, background screening, and regulatory requirements
