The Learning Experience - Ashburn is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our Toddler/2-Year-Old classroom. You will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate program that supports language development, movement, creativity, and hands-on learning.

This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with opportunities for advancement. You'll collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership, observe progress, and build strong relationships with families

Formación

• Previous professional childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood classroom experience required.
• Experience working with toddlers or 2-year-olds strongly preferred.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Dependable, patient, energetic, and comfortable working as part of a team.
• Must meet Virginia licensing requirements for the position.

Responsabilidades

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for toddlers and 2-year-olds
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Plan developmentally appropriate activities through art, music, movement, sensory exploration, language, and play
• Support emerging independence, communication, and social-emotional development
• Use positive guidance and consistent classroom routines
• Support diapering, toileting, meals, and other daily care routines
• Observe and document children's development
• Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Follow Virginia licensing and center requirements

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

This is a great opportunity for an educator who loves the busy, curious, increasingly independent toddler years. You'll create a classroom filled with hands-on learning, language development, movement, creativity, and plenty of opportunities for children to practice new skills.
