The Learning Experience in Bristow, VA hires a dedicated Toddler Teacher to create engaging, play-based learning experiences for toddlers and to support their development across language, social-emotional, and cognitive domains.

You will implement the LEAP curriculum, foster strong family relationships, and collaborate with a supportive teaching team to maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment. This role requires energy, patience, and a passion for early childhood education.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with toddlers in licensed childcare or early childhood setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of toddler development and developmentally appropriate teaching practices.
• Experience managing classroom routines and supporting positive behavior.
• Patient, nurturing, dependable, and enthusiastic about early childhood education.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Must meet Virginia childcare licensing, background screening, and regulatory requirements.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

From first friendships and growing independence to language development and hands-on exploration, you'll make a meaningful difference in children's lives every day.

What You'll Do

• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum through play-based activities
• Support early language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Engage children through sensory play, art, music, movement, and hands-on exploration

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous professional experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare, daycare, or early childhood education setting required
• Strong understanding of toddler development and developmentally appropriate teaching practices
• Experience managing classroom routines and supporting positive behavior
• Patient, nurturing, dependable, and enthusiastic about early childhood education
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Must meet applicable Virginia childcare licensing, background screening, and regulatory requirements
