The Learning Experience in Riverton, NJ is seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher to nurture young learners through play-based education. You will plan engaging activities, create a safe, stimulating classroom, and partner with families to support every child’s growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood setting.
• Knowledge of child development milestones and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state licensing requirements.
• Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans for toddler-aged children.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Monitor and support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child.
• Communicate daily with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and activities.
• Maintain accurate developmental records and observations for each student.
• Ensure classroom cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive learning community.
