Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; ECE degree preferred.
• Experience with toddlers or in early childhood settings preferred.
• Knowledge of child development milestones and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to pass a background check per state requirements.
• Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor toward young children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans for toddlers.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Monitor and support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child.
• Communicate daily with parents and guardians regarding progress and activities.
• Maintain accurate developmental records and observations for each student.
• Ensure classroom cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to support a positive learning community.
