Qualifications

• Bachelor's/CDA/CPL Level 2 in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Current or willing to obtain ODJFS-required certifications: First Aid, CPR, Child Abuse Recognition, and Communicable Disease Prevention.
• Commitment to Step Up To Quality training requirements.
• Ability to meet all ODJFS, Step Up To Quality, USDA CACFP, Healthy Ohio, and Teaching Strategies Gold requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, hands-on learning experiences for toddlers.
• Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Follow our play-based curriculum and educational philosophy.
• Observe and assess children's growth and developmental progress.
• Partner with families through positive communication and collaboration.
• Help maintain a warm, safe, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Work alongside a supportive team dedicated to excellence in early childhood education.
