Job summary

Child Care Resources Inc is seeking a nurturing Toddler Teacher to support children aged 1 to 3 with developmentally appropriate activities. You will design interactive lesson plans, foster independence, and build a nurturing classroom that emphasizes safety and positive relationships with families.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience in licensed childcare, CPR/First Aid, and a HS diploma; CDA is a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Strong understanding of child development and best practices in early childhood education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High School diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement interactive, age-specific lesson plans for language, motor, social-emotional, and cognitive growth.
Create a warm, inclusive environment focused on safety, respect, and positive relationships.
Maintain an organized, clean, and stimulating classroom.
Communicate with parents about children's progress, activities, and concerns.
Observe and document each child's growth, development, and behavior.
Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to ensure engaging learning.
Supervise during play, meals, naptime, and transitions with health and safety adherence.
Attend required trainings, staff meetings, and professional development.
