Job summary

The Learning Experience - Smyrna, GA seeks a dependable Full-Time Floater Teacher to support classrooms from 6 weeks to 5 years old across our center. You will fill in where needed to help infants reach milestones and assist preschoolers with readiness activities, while building strong relationships with children and families.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, adapts quickly to changing classroom assignments, and supports daily operations and staff.

Qualifications

  • Experience with infants to 5-year-olds is preferred.
  • Must obtain First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Patient, nurturing, energetic and professional with children.

Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom support across infant, toddler, and preschool programs as assigned.
  • Assist with implementing engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
  • Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
  • Help maintain safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environments.
  • Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, toileting, meals, rest time, and transitions.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
  • Follow classroom schedules, center policies, and state licensing requirements.
  • Step into different classrooms as needed to maintain quality care and appropriate staffing levels.
  • Support teachers and leadership in ensuring smooth daily operations.

Do you enjoy variety in your day and feel confident working with children of all ages? We're looking for a dependable, adaptable, and enthusiastic Full-Time Floater Teacher to support classrooms throughout our center, serving children from 6 weeks to 5 years old.

As a Floater Teacher, you'll be an essential part of our team, stepping into different classrooms as needed to support children, teachers, and daily operations. One day you may be helping infants reach developmental milestones, while the next you may be assisting preschoolers with school-readiness activities. Your flexibility, positive attitude, and ability to build relationships quickly will help ensure every classroom receives the support it needs.
