Job summary

KIDS ACADEMY Childcare & Preschool in Ohio is seeking an experienced Toddler Teacher to plan age-appropriate activities, select curricula, and support the children in our care. You will collaborate with staff, help manage schedules and supplies, and communicate positively with families to promote growth.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or higher, 2 years in a licensed childcare setting, and coursework in early childhood education or CDA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in a licensed childcare facility.
• Coursework in early childhood education or a CDA.
• Knowledge of state and federal child care regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of caring for and nurturing children in a licensed environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ODJFS Child Care licensing rules.
• Develop lesson plans.
• Interact with children to support learning and socialization.
• Maintain consistent communication with parents.
• Participate in staff and training meetings.
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom environment.
• Assist in designing classroom arrangements to support learning.
• Commit to continuing education and professional development.
