Job summary

Small Hands Big Dreams is hiring an Experienced Toddler Teacher in Kirtland, OH. This full-time role involves leading a licensed early childhood classroom, nurturing young children, and building strong relationships with families and staff.

The position offers opportunities for part-time float and assistant roles as well. We seek educators with a passion for play-based learning, understanding child development, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Meet all state licensing requirements (5101:2-12-27).
• CPL 3 or higher for Lead positions; CPL 1 and 2 considered for other roles.
• Ability to lift/carry children up to 70 lbs and stay on foot most of the day.

Responsibilities

• Lead a toddler classroom with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families and coworkers.
• Collaborate with a team to deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.

Qualifications

1. I. Educational Requirements
   • A. Meet all state licensing qualifications (5101:2-12-27)
   • B. CPL 3 or higher for Lead positions; CPL 1 and 2 Considered for other roles.
2. II. Physical Requirements
   • A. Lifting and carrying children that may weigh 10- 70lbs.
   • B. Stand up to 90% of the day while supervising the safety of the children
