KIDS ACADEMY Childcare & Preschool in Ohio is seeking an experienced Preschool Teacher to develop age-appropriate curricula and lead engaging activities for children in our care. You will support staff, manage scheduling, and communicate positively with families to foster a nurturing learning environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 2+ years in licensed childcare, and knowledge of state regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of caring and nurturing children in a licensed educational environment.
• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years experience in licensed childcare.
• Coursework or degree in early childhood education, child development or a CDA.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding child care.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ODJFS Child Care licensing rules.
• Develop lesson plans.
• Interact with children to support effective learning and socialization.
• Consistent Communication with parents.
• Participation in staff and training meetings.
• Maintain clean and tidy classroom environment.
• Assist to design an appropriate classroom arrangement in support of learning and developmental goals.
• Commitment to continuing education.
