The Learning Experience in Ramsey, NJ is seeking a Toddler Teacher for our Twaddler classroom (2–2.5 years). The role offers a full-time, Monday-Friday schedule and a pay of $18 per hour. You will contribute to developing independence, language, and social skills through play and structured activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with toddlers or 2-year-olds preferred.
• CDA or ECE coursework is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a patient approach.

Responsabilités

• Support daily classroom activities for children ages 2–2.5.
• Implement LEAP Curriculum in daily activities.
• Create engaging sensory, art, music, movement, and hands-on experiences.
• Encourage language development and social interactions.
• Assist with toileting, meals, rest, and transitions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, welcoming classroom environment.
• Communicate with families and collaborate with staff.

The Learning Experience - Ramsey is seeking an enthusiastic Toddler Teacher for our Twaddler classroom, serving children approximately 2-2.5 years old.

We're looking for someone who enjoys helping young children develop independence, build friendships, strengthen communication skills, and discover the joy of learning through play.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily classroom activities and routines for children ages 2-2.5
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Create engaging sensory, art, music, movement, and hands-on learning experiences
• Encourage language development, independence, and positive social interactions
• Support toileting, diapering, meals, rest time, and classroom transitions
• Use positive guidance and developmentally appropriate classroom management
• Observe and document children's developmental progress
• Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous professional childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood education experience preferred
• Experience with toddlers or 2-year-olds strongly preferred
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication skills and a positive, patient approach
• Dependable, energetic, and comfortable working with young children
• Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
