Job summary

The Goddard School in Springboro is seeking a responsible, dependable and motivated lead teacher for our Toddler program. This full-time position offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package in a state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities include following Ohio regulations, effective classroom management, executing lesson plans, parent communication and maintaining an engaging classroom. CDA or ECE degree strongly preferred.

Job description

The Goddard School in Springboro is seeking responsible, dependable, motivated and caring individual for full time lead teaching position in our Toddler program. Our facility is a state-of-the-art 20,000 sq. ft. building with 10 classroom, half court gym, gross motor room and 3 separate playgrounds.

Job requirements include:

• Following State of Ohio and Goddard regulations.
• Successful classroom management using developmentally appropriate practices.
• Implement lesson plans in academic and enrichment subject areas.
• Parent communication.
• Maintaining an aesthetically pleasing classroom environment.

• Candidate should be able to lift 30 pounds, sustain high level of activity, bend, stoop and sit on the floor.
• Candidate must have experience working in a childcare setting.
• For top pay consideration, candidate must also have a CDA Credential, ECE or related degree.
• Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, creativity, strong work ethic, positive energy and enthusiasm about early childhood education. Focus on teamwork and customer service required!
