Job summary

Magical Beginnings in Norwell, MA seeks a Certified Toddler Teacher to guide a lively group of 15-months to 3-year-olds. You will plan developmentally appropriate activities, partner with a co-teacher, and maintain a safe, engaging classroom.

The role requires EEC Infant Toddler Certification or CDA, center-based daycare experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet most of the day. Magical Beginnings offers strong benefits and weekly payroll.

Responsibilities

We're seeking an EEC Certified Toddler Teacher to join our loving and experienced team at ourNorwellcenter. If you're an experienced toddler teacher, infant teacher, infant/toddler teacher, or preschool teacher who loves the 15 months–3 years age group, we'd love to meet you. In this role, you will lead a classroom of curious and active toddlers, guiding them through essential milestones with patience, positivity, and purpose.

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

• EEC Infant Toddler Certification, CDA, or equivalent degree and experience (required)
• Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting
• Patience, positive energy, and a love for helping young children meet and exceed their developmental goals

Some requirements of the role include:

• Flexibility to work 6:30AM-5:30PM Monday through Friday
• Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday
• Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset

As a Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with your co-teacher to prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and materials
• Supporting social-emotional development and early learning milestones through play-based, age-appropriate activities
• Keeping parents informed and building positive relationships with children and families
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment
• Assisting with daily routines, including toilet training, diapering, meals, outdoor time, and naptime
• Tracking children's progress and completing required assessments
• Maintaining your EEC-required professional development hours and PQ registry
• Helping toddlers build independence, language, and confidence
