Job summary

Magical Beginnings in Norwell, MA is seeking an experienced EEC Certified Toddler Teacher to join our caring team and guide a classroom of 15 months–3 years old.

You'll lead developmentally appropriate, play-based activities, track milestones, partner with families, and support routine care while maintaining a safe, clean classroom. This full-time role offers growth and collaboration in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• EEC Infant Toddler Certification required, CDA or equivalent degree and experience.
• Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting.
• Patience, positive energy, and a love for helping young children meet developmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with your co-teacher to prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and materials.
• Supporting social-emotional development and early learning milestones through play-based activities.
• Keeping parents informed and building positive relationships with children and families.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment.
• Assisting with daily routines, including toilet training, diapering, meals, outdoor time, and naptime.
• Tracking children's progress and completing required assessments.
• Maintaining your EEC-required professional development hours and PQ registry.
• Helping toddlers build independence, language, and confidence.

We're seeking an EEC Certified Toddler Teacher to join our loving and experienced team at ourNorwellcenter. If you're an experienced toddler teacher, infant teacher, infant/toddler teacher, or preschool teacher who loves the 15 months–3 years age group, we'd love to meet you. In this role, you will lead a classroom of curious and active toddlers, guiding them through essential milestones with patience, positivity, and purpose.

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

• EEC Infant Toddler Certification, CDA, or equivalent degree and experience (required)
• Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting
• Patience, positive energy, and a love for helping young children meet and exceed their developmental goals

Some requirements of the role include:

• Flexibility to work 6:30AM-5:30PM Monday through Friday
• Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday
• Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset

As a Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for:
