Magical Beginnings in Plymouth, MA is hiring an EEC Certified Toddler Teacher to lead a classroom of curious toddlers aged 15 months to 3 years. You will partner with a co-teacher to plan age-appropriate curriculum and activities, fostering social-emotional growth and early learning milestones.

The role requires on-floor interaction, strong patience, and a passion for helping young children develop language and independence. Full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• EEC Infant Toddler Certification or CDA or equivalent degree and experience required.
• Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

We're seeking an EEC Certified Toddler Teacher to join our loving and experienced team at our Plymouth center. If you're an experienced toddler teacher, infant teacher, infant/toddler teacher, or preschool teacher who loves the 15 months–3 years age group, we'd love to meet you. In this role, you will lead a classroom of curious and active toddlers, guiding them through essential milestones with patience, positivity, and purpose.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

• EEC Infant Toddler Certification, CDA, or equivalent degree and experience (required)
• Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting
• Patience, positive energy, and a love for helping young children meet and exceed their developmental goals

Some requirements of the role include:

• Flexibility to work 7:00AM-5:30PM Monday through Friday
• Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday
• Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset

As a Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with your co-teacher to prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and materials
• Supporting social-emotional development and early learning milestones through play-based, age-appropriate activities
• Keeping parents informed and building positive relationships with children and families
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment
• Assisting with daily routines, including toilet training, diapering, meals, outdoor time, and naptime
• Tracking children's progress and completing required assessments
• Maintaining your EEC-required professional development hours and PQ registry
