Job summary

Little Sprouts Academy in Eastpointe, MI is seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher to support young learners during their most formative years through play-based learning. You will create a safe, nurturing classroom, maintain a strong focus on social and cognitive development, and communicate progress to families.

You will plan engaging activities, maintain records, and ensure health and safety standards while collaborating with staff to deliver a consistent, enriching experience each day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CDA credential or Early Childhood Education degree preferred.
• Experience with toddlers or in a childcare/preschool setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood development milestones and best practices.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to pass a state and federal background check.
• Patient, energetic, and compassionate demeanor with a love for children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily activities

• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a consistent, positive learning experience
