Job summary

Marvelous Child LLC in Madison Heights, MI is seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher to support young learners in a warm, nurturing environment. You will plan developmentally appropriate activities, monitor progress, and communicate with families to enhance each child's growth.

The role requires experience with toddlers in childcare or early education, knowledge of development principles, and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). CDA/AA/Bachelor's in ECE preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with toddlers or young children in childcare or early education.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• CDA credential / Associate's / Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate, developmentally-focused lesson plans for toddlers.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth and daily activities.
• Supervise toddlers during play, meals, and rest times to ensure health and safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom space.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support program goals.
