Collaborating with the lead teacher, you will contribute to weekly lesson plans, track each child’s progress, and ensure effective communication with families. This role emphasizes teamwork and child-centered development.

Qualifications

• Greet children and parents/guardians in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
• Maintain a happy, sanitary atmosphere in the toddler room.
• Plan and discuss activities to stimulate growth in language, social, and motor skills.
• Work with lead teacher to provide lesson plans and share ideas regularly.
• Assist with diapering, nap times, and daily routines to ensure safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with children through instructional activities including play, music, arts and crafts, reading, writing, computer, and physical activities.
• Develops positive relationships with parents and communicates progress.
• Prepare and execute nap time and feeding routines.
• Maintain written documentation of daily activities and attendance.
• Participate in trainings and staff meetings as scheduled.
• Delegate tasks among toddler assistants to ensure smooth operation of the room.
