Apple Montessori Schools in Morris Plains, NJ is seeking a Co-Teacher Toddler to join our Montessori team. This role supports a safe, engaging classroom and participates in ongoing professional development that provides tools to succeed.

You will collaborate with the Head Teacher on curriculum and lesson planning, communicate with parents, and help implement Montessori materials and philosophy. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10:30 am to 6:30 pm, with compensation described as $36,000–$43,000

Qualifications

• Associate degree or CDA with required credits.
• Montessori experience preferred.
• NAMC preferred or willing to obtain within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all students enjoy a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
• Collaborate with the Head Teacher in the areas of curriculum, lesson planning, and parent communication.
• Work closely with students to foster individual success plans and maintaining accurate records.
• Learn how to effectively demonstrate Montessori materials and philosophy.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to plan school events and prepare curriculum.
• Participating in staff development activities, educational trainings, and mentorship programs.
