Job summary

Chesterbrook Academy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Toddler Teacher to care for 1-year-olds and implement engaging lesson plans. You will write progress reports and ensure sanitary and licensing compliance in a safe, nurturing classroom.

You’ll design activities, foster routines, and partner with families to support each child’s development through discovery and play, joining a growing early childhood education team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and meet state licensing requirements.
• CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
• A passion for early learning, creativity, and helping children discover new skills each day.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement interactive, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Foster a warm and consistent classroom routine that helps toddlers feel secure and confident.
• Build positive partnerships with families through open, ongoing communication.
