The Learning Experience #414 in Charlotte, NC is seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher to provide safe, nurturing, and engaging early learning experiences for toddlers. You will support development across social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive domains while partnering with families.

This role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing training, and a warm classroom community, with emphasis on creating routines, clear communication, and a love of learning in young children.

Qualifications

• One year of professional teaching experience preferred or six months required.
• Genuine passion for education and care of toddlers and young children.
• Experience caring for toddlers in a professional setting.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in ECE strongly preferred.
• Health and safety mindful with ability to create a safe classroom.
• Ability to communicate with families and colleagues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for toddlers.
• Implement age-appropriate activities supporting social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive development.
• Encourage independence, curiosity, and positive social interactions through play.
• Support each child’s routines, milestones, and emerging independence.
• Build strong relationships with families and colleagues, communicating regularly.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and follow health and safety guidelines.

Education

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field

High School Diploma/GED if no degree
