Cadence Education in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Lead Teacher for Toddlers. You will create a warm, inclusive classroom and deliver curriculum in line with Cadence programs, while maintaining safety and strong family communication.

The role requires an Associate or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (preferred) and state licensing compliance. Expect collaboration with families and ongoing professional development, with a focus on supporting each child’s growth.

Qualifications

• Safety procedures and licensing rules must be followed.
• Classroom management with consistency, structure, and care.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment for every child.
• Build positive relationships with children and families through daily greetings and communication.
• Recognize diverse development and learning needs and support IEPs and behavioral plans.
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence philosophy.
• Use Cadence systems to communicate professionally with families and staff.
• Maintain a safe, supervised classroom following Safety and Supervision guidelines.
• Document accidents and incidents per policy and licensing rules.
• Follow all Cadence policies and participate in trainings as required.
