Job summary

The ideal candidate holds an associate or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, and has 6–12 months of relevant experience or stronger credentials.

Qualifications

• Follow state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers
• 6–12 months of early childhood or classroom experience preferred
• Experience in early childhood education or childcare settings is valued

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment for every child
• Build positive relationships with children and families with daily greetings and ongoing communication
• Recognize and support diverse developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs; implement IEPs when required
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum
• Use Cadence systems to communicate professionally with families and staff
• Maintain a safe, well-supervised classroom per policies and licensing
• Document accidents and incidents per policy and licensing requirements
• Follow Employee Handbook policies and participate in trainings and meetings as scheduled
