Cadence Education is seeking a Lead Teacher for toddlers in Wilmington, NC. You will create a welcoming classroom, foster positive relationships with families, and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum in alignment with Cadence programs.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers.
• 6–12 months of early childhood or classroom experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain background checks and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment for every child.
• Build professional relationships with children and families with daily greetings.
• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence programs.
• Follow safety standards and licensing requirements.
• Document accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors.
• Communicate with families and staff using Cadence systems.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
• Support children with IEPs and behavior plans when needed.
