Job summary

BrightPath Kids Dover is seeking a Toddler Lead Teacher to provide a nurturing, educational home away from home for children from 6 weeks to 12 years. You will collaborate with families and fellow teachers to implement developmentally appropriate,NAEYC-guided curricula.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent recognized by Delaware Department of Education.
• Options A-G describe multiple pathways to qualification in early childhood education.
• CDA credential or equivalent college credits satisfy educator qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children aged 6 weeks to 12 years in the assigned classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum per NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe, clean environment fostering exploration and growth.
• Partner with families to plan for best care and education.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child.
