Job summary

The Malvern School of Horsham is seeking a Lead Teacher for the Toddler classroom in a full-time role, Monday through Friday. The position offers a passion for early childhood education, a chance to design curriculum, and opportunities for professional development within a supportive team environment.

Qualified candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field or an equivalent combination as outlined in our criteria, with several pathways including years of experience with children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field (as listed)
• Bachelor’s with 30 credits in ECE/related field plus 1 year experience
• Associate’s degree with 2 years experience in ECE/related field
• Associate’s with 30 credits in ECE/related field plus 3 years experience

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents, in person and via technology, meeting or exceeding expectations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field

Bachelor’s degree with 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children

Associate’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children
