Job summary

The Malvern School is seeking a Lead Teacher for the Toddler classroom at The Malvern School of Horsham. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, with a focus on delivering a superior early childhood program.

You will plan, supervise and maintain a safe, engaging classroom, while communicating with parents and collaborating with a professional team to meet high standards of care and education.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
• A bachelor’s degree with 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field plus 1 year of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field plus 2 years of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree with 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Teacher plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in ECE / related field with 30 credit hours in ECE

Bachelor's degree + 1 year experience in child care

Associate's degree in ECE + 2 years experience

Associate's degree + 30 credit hours in ECE + 3 years experience
