Job summary

The Malvern School is currently seeking a Lead Teacher for the Toddler classroom at The Malvern School of Westtown. This is a full-timeposition, Monday - Friday.

We are seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education whose duties include planning and supervising a superior program, maintaining a safe and educational environment, and communicating with parents to meet expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
• Bachelor’s degree including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
• Associate’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
• Associate’s degree including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

Education
