Job summary

Kenyatta's Day Care & Learning Center in the South Shore community seeks a nurturing Two’s Teacher for ages 0–3. You will prepare and deliver classroom activities, communicate with staff and parents, and help maintain a safe, engaging learning environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, a CDA or 30 college credits (6 in early childhood development), and preferably one year of experience with young children.

Two's Teacher Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of a CDA or 30 college credit hours with 6 being in early childhood development
• Preferably a minimum of one year experience working with children 0-3 years of age.
• Clear criminal record.
• Prior experience working with young children, preferably within a similar setting.
• Basic first aid training is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 30 pounds.

• Ability to attend evening staff meetings, as required.

We are searching for a nurturing 0 - 3 Teacher to ensure that the basic needs as well as educational needs of our students are met. As a 0 - 3 Teacher, you will be required to prepare and deliver classroom activities, communicate with staff and parents, and ensure that the learning environment always remains safe. You should also be an excellent role model for our students.
