Job summary

Kenyatta's Day Care & Learning Center in the South Shore community seeks a nurturing Two’s Teacher for ages 0–3. You will prepare and deliver classroom activities, communicate with staff and parents, and help maintain a safe, engaging learning environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, a CDA or 30 college credits (6 in early childhood development), and preferably one year of experience with young children.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDA or 30 college credits with 6 in early childhood development.
• Preferred 1 year of experience with 0–3 years.
• Clear criminal record.
• First aid training is advantageous.
• Physically fit to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Warm, approachable disposition and problem-solving skills.
• Organizational and planning abilities.
• Ability to attend evening staff meetings.
• Passion for early childhood development.
