Joy Park Montessori Education is hiring a Toddler Lead Montessori teacher in Austin. The role requires a Montessori certification and Mandarin language proficiency.

You will guide activities, foster a warm and accepting classroom, and support early development in a bilingual English–Mandarin environment. Qualifications include AMI/AMS/MACTE accreditation, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a collaborative, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Montessori certification required (AMI/AMS/MACTE accredited).
• In-person work location in Austin, TX.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand most of the day.
• Excellent communication with families and team.

Responsibilities

• Guide and present Montessori activities to students
• Create a warm, welcoming environment
• Focus on developmental needs of students
• Supervise students during outdoor recess
• Model positive behavior and show respect for students and families
• Perform daily cleaning duties in the classroom
• Prepare snacks and set the table
• Read stories to children
• Perform other assigned duties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Guide and present Montessori activities to students
• Create a warm, loving, welcoming, pleasing and accepting environment
• Focus on the developmental needs of the students
• Supervise students during outside recess at all times
• Model positive behavior and show respect for students and families
• Perform daily cleaning duties such as wiping and cleaning tables and shelves, sweeping the classroom when necessary, and monitoring children's cubbies
• Prepare snacks and set the table for snack time
• Read stories to children
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

Montessori Certified (AMI , AMS, or MACTE Accredited) required, we're glad to sponsor certification for the eligible candidate.
