The ideal candidate will have experience with early childhood programs, be reliable, and able to meet state and program requirements. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and a positive learning environment for children and families.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+.
• Experience with children 1–3 years old.
• Active FCCPC(CDA) or Associates in Early Childhood.
• Must be able to use a computer and have data entry skills.
• Must be dependable with an excellent work ethic.
• Must be able to accept guidance and supervision during the work shift.
• CPR and First Aid certifications to be obtained within 60 days.
• Must complete fingerprinting and background check.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds and perform related physical tasks.
• Experience with CLASS or willingness to complete CLASS training.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of teachers and administrators to provide the best learning experience possible.
• Create lesson plans and implement them; evaluate student progress.
• Meet with parents to discuss the needs and goals of students.
• Plan curriculum to accommodate varying developmental needs.
• Create a safe, friendly environment in the childcare room.
• Provide quality supervision and caring service to our members and their children.
• Organize age-appropriate activities to be fun, playful, and safe.
