The Learning Experience - Meridian is seeking a caring and dependable Toddler Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Meridian, ID. You will work alongside experienced teachers to support daily Toddler classroom routines and learning activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous daycare, preschool, childcare, or experience with children preferred.
• Toddler classroom experience is a plus.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus.
• Patient, dependable, energetic, and team-oriented.
• Ability to meet Idaho childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Teachers with daily Toddler classroom routines and learning activities.
• Engage children through play, art, music, movement, sensory activities, and hands-on learning.
• Support language development, independence, and positive social interactions.
• Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions.
• Provide attentive supervision and positive guidance.
• Help prepare classroom activities and learning materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Collaborate with teachers and center leadership. Follow Idaho childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.

Toddler Assistant Teacher - Daycare & Early Childhood Education

Location: The Learning Experience - Meridian, ID

Pay: $16-$18 per hour, based on experience and credentials

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
