Job summary

LSU seeks an Associate Director to provide senior leadership for the Tobacco Control Initiative (TCI). The role oversees program implementation, personnel, partner engagement, research, evaluation and continuous quality improvement across statewide sites.

The incumbent supervises program managers and staff, ensuring accountability, and represents TCI to healthcare leaders, funders, and community partners. A Master's in Public Health and 7+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

7+ years of related experience including supervisory responsibilities and performance management.
Experience coordinating complex programs across multiple organizations or sites.
Experience in program planning, implementation, research, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

Provide senior operational and programmatic leadership for TCI and translate priorities into statewide actions.
Oversee program implementation, administration, personnel, partner engagement, research, evaluation, and quality improvement.
Supervise program managers, coordinators, student workers and staff; ensure accountability across teams and partner sites.
Represent TCI with healthcare administrators, health professionals, funders, advisory groups, and community partners.
