Reynolds American in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a technical team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will plan and oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, drive equipment reliability, and collaborate with Operations and Engineering to balance output with uptime.

Strong leadership, FDA-regulated environment exposure, and SAP/MS Office proficiency are required; a high school diploma and advanced degree/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily work plans for the Tech Support team and evaluate performance.
• Improve equipment reliability by aligning with OEM standards via planned maintenance.
• Plan and manage maintenance work orders (corrective, preventive, predictive).
• Ensure timely, efficient services for internal Maintenance partners.
• Collaborate with Operations and engineering to balance output and reliability.
• Coach and develop staff; set expectations and monitor results.

REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor in Winston-Salem, NC.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Manages Tech Support staffing daily work plans, evaluates performance and maintains administrative responsibilities for the team
• Maximizes equipment reliability and availability by returning equipment to OEM design standards through use of planned maintenance.
• Plans and manages corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance work order using tech support staffing.
• Ensures that all internal partners of the Maintenance department receive timely, efficient, and quality services.
• Collaborates with Operations management and engineering to balance daily output with the need for equipment reliability through pro-active maintenance.
• Performs long and short-range planning and provides data to support budget and staffing requirements.
• Communicates job expectations to a team of direct reports; plans, monitors, and appraises job results; coaches and counsels to help employees meet performance standards. Maintains a qualified staff by seeking opportunities to expand their knowledge and abilities.

• Prior experience in tobacco, beverage or food industry.
• Experience in an FDA regulated work environment.
• Knowledge/experience with Integrated Work Systems.

• Proven self-starter who generates new ideas and challenges the status quo.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in SAP software skills, (including Microsoft Office Suite) and the ability to quickly learn new computer skills.
• High School diploma or G.E.D required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in management, Engineering or related field or 7+ years relevant progressive work experience preferred.
