To-go/Curbside Server Responsibilities

Responsibilities

As a To-Go Server, your primary responsibility is to be an effective SALESPERSON. You must understand our food and beverage menus, specials, and promos, and be able to make recommendations based on your knowledge.

Your next responsibility is to ensure our guests have a great experience by providing exceptional service. This includes:

• Making each guest feel appreciated through accommodating actions.
• Practicing the “Hospitality Halo” with everyone within a six-foot radius (smile, step aside, speak first). A friendly attitude is essential.
• Working as a team with all team members.
• Communicating clearly and enthusiastically, maintaining an outgoing attitude, and remaining calm under pressure.
• Promptly greeting guests and ensuring timely food and beverage delivery, staying organized, and acting quickly.
• Having thorough knowledge of service sequences, guidelines, and To-Go procedures.
• Maintaining the appearance of the To-Go area through cleaning and stocking, and ensuring “Perfect Plate” presentations.
• Owning and correcting mistakes to ensure guest satisfaction.

Knowledge Requirements

• Guest relations, To-Go packaging, Menu knowledge, Service sequences, Telephone etiquette, Point of Sale operation, Quality standards, Safety and Security procedures, Cash handling, Floor plan, Specials, Sidework duties.

Physical Requirements

Ability to carry To-Go orders weighing 1-25 pounds, stand and move for extended periods, speak, read, write, perform basic math, and lift up to 25 pounds.
