Job description

PREFERENCES
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience within the deregulated electric utility industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise as a subject matter expert (SME) in back-office applications, business operations, market processes, and ERCOT protocols, working groups, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of wholesale and retail market operations, industry compliance standards, and utility business processes.
  • Proven experience gathering, documenting, and translating business needs into functional business requirements.
  • Skilled in leading or supporting the testing, implementation, and continuous improvement of business process and system solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies and ensure alignment with market and regulatory requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the deregulated electric utility industry and serve as a recognized subject matter expert in back-office systems, market operations, and ERCOT requirements. This individual will have a strong track record of developing business requirements, facilitating testing efforts, and implementing process improvements and technology solutions that enhance business performance and compliance
